Our products are manufactured exclusively in the USA. We are licensed directly by the inventor of the process, Allan Barnes of Bradford, England. His network of installers has been applying Thermocrete Ceramic Flue Sealant throughout England and Ireland since 1985 with extraordinary results. When Mike Varney of the United States learned of this incredible ceramic product, he recognized the significant impact Thermocrete would have on home fire safety in the United States.
The Beginning
In 1997, Mike Varney and sons, Chris and Jason, created a new company called Thermocrete USA, Inc. to bring this product to the American market. Both generations continue to lead the team bringing experience and science together to provide modern technology to an ancient industry.
Together, they have trained chimney and venting professionals throughout North America and currently support a network of Installers and Registered Agents from Maine to California.
The success of Thermocrete as a solution for damaged chimneys led Thermocrete USA, Inc. to launch the development of an ever-increasing number of chimney repair products. As more products were developed and produced, it became evident that a larger company was needed to represent them all adequately and thus Ventech Industries, Inc. was formed in 2002.

President and CEO, Mike Varney is responsive to the changing needs of the venting industry in North America.
Before his commitment to Ventech Industries, Inc., the parent of Thermocrete USA, Inc., Mike was well known in the chimney safety industry and enjoys great personal and professional respect throughout the United States and Canada.
He continues his daily involvement with the company and enthusiastically undertakes the challenge of finding new and diverse methods of promoting fire safety.

Vice President and COO, Chris has guided the development of Thermocrete and has positioned it as the most versatile chimney repair solution available on the market.
Under his direction, Thermocrete has been welcomed not only into the residential market but the commercial and industrial as well.
Jason Varney
Vice President and Plant Manager, Jason administers the manufacturing aspect of Thermocrete.
He is equally involved with the oversight of equipment maintenance and shipping.
As a direct result of his Quality Assurance program, the network of Thermocrete installers is assured a consistently superior product delivered on time.
